Kansas Wildscape Event (Jan 2012)

January 11th, 2012

In an unseasonably warm January, I was asked to be a part of The Annual Kansas Wildscape Event through a shooter friend of mine as the hunting / pro shooter for their fundraising campaign at Flint Oak.  I had a blast.  I was set up at one particularly hard station, and teams paid for the opportunity for me to shoot a perfect score for them. It was there that I also gave tips on how to improve their shooting.

Boy Scouts Camp Naish Fundraiser Shoot (Oct 2011)

January 11th, 2012

It was an honor for me to be a part of the Boy Scouts of America Fundraiser Shoot at Camp Naish for the second year in a row.  What a beautiful place.  The landscape at the camp makes a perfect sporting clays course.  They had over 85 shooters on that day, shooting the course I designed for 10 stations.  Fun!

From helping in the planning, designing the temporary course, getting target machines, setting targets, etc… my team and I set up, maintained, and broke down the course.  It’s a lot of work, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  They already have the 2012 date set… I can’t wait to get started!

Z-Tag Incentive Trip (May 2011)

January 11th, 2012

It was a pleasure to be a part of the Z-Tag Promotional Incentive trip for 2011.  Z-Tag’s top salesmen were awarded a new shotgun (A CZ-USA Wingshooter, none the less!) and a trip to the 74 Ranch in Texas.  They hired me to come out and give some lessons to these winners and take them around the beautiful sporting clays course!

Tom Knapp at Powdercreek Shooting Park

October 1st, 2011

I have been traveling with CZ-USA sponsored Exhibition Shooter Tom Knapp for few months now, I was his support while filming the new reality show for Discovery Channel in Texas and I was helping him set up a show at Powdercreek Shooting Park in Lenexa, KS. Despite the rainy weather we had 350+ people watching Tom perform.

Coaching the Chief Scout Executive on 5-Stand

July 20th, 2010

On July 16th and 17th I have participated in a great event at Geiger
Shooting Range. Mr. Robert Mazzuca, Chief Scout Executive for the Boy
Scouts of America was presented with a commemorative CZ-USA Redhead
shotgun at the Camp Geiger Shooting Range ribbon cutting ceremony and I
was asked to assist Mr. Mazzuca with his 5-stand shooting experience on
Saturday. He did really well. Read the rest of this entry »

Ground breaking event at Geiger Shooting Range

October 7th, 2009

For the past several month I have been involved with Pony Express Council of BSA in St. Joseph, MO. I have been hired to design the Sporting Clays Course and 5-Stand at Geiger Shooting Range – first of a kind shooting complex operated by the BSA that will be open to public 10 months in a year. The shooting range will operate on 40+ acres surrounded by beautiful scenery of rolling hills. My abilities will be put to test on 11/7 when BSA host the Inaugural Shoot. There is still time to sign up and shoot this event. $100.00 per individual shooter will get you lunch, ammo for 100 Sporting Clays target, dinner and nice gifts from sponsors! It is a great news for the shooting community to have new range in St. Joe :-)

FYI – Pony Express Council has raised $700,000 for this project. Congratulations!

I am very excited to present you with my new website. In the news section I would like to keep you posted on my latest shooting achievements, hunting trips and the projects that I am currently involved with. Let’s start with the easy one – I have won the Minnesota State Sporting Clay Championship! It was a great event for CZ-USA. Not only I took the title of the Out of State Champion, but the Caribou Gun Club has purchased CZ shotguns for prizes!
